Olivia Musson is a designer who draws inspiration from the never-ending beauty of nature. She hopes to bring joy to her audience through extravagant colour and storytelling. Her work has a painterly quality with organic forms that build up dramatic silhouettes with a flourish of overwhelming texture.

Growing up in a family of artists on the edge of Exmoor, Musson moved to Edinburgh to study fashion at the University of Edinburgh in 2021. Graduating with a first class honours in 2025 she began working for the bafta winning costume designer Michael Sharp where she fell in love with the world of theatrical design for stage.

Musson not only works in the world of fashion and costume, she also has a deep love for painting and creates works of art that explore poetry, storytelling and dreamlike imagery. She often turns her paintings into fabric prints, transforming them into wearable canvases. She aims to continue to spill colour onto the runway and create wearable works of art for as long as she can paint.

Her work has been featured in Zoot magazine, The Scotsman, the Edinburgh Reporter, and The Skinny.
